Quote: cgs? means fully computer generated images. try boyis.com :)

Oh duhh . . . minor lapse in memory right there. And that site is great. I've already found some that I could use. Thank you!

Yeah . . . Ku Fei, Mana Tatsumiya, Zazie Rainyday, and that little kid that hangs around with Misora. The problem is that they're a bit too mainstream. People will recognize them for sure. I'm trying to go with something incognito. For example, like anime or game art that came out in Japan only and not anywhere else.

I think I can get away with using her. Thanks!

Does "CGs" stand for something? I'm looking it up right now and it doesn't seem to be yielding any matches.

f

Thank you kindly folks.

I have a slight update to my project. I figure that I can just photoshop skin color to make girls and guys darker. But the key thing with what I'm trying to do is a grassland/arid type of theme.

Hence I actually need girls and guys in exotic outfits more than anything. So if you have some jungle outfits, desert outfits, or anything like that on characters, that would be great.

f

I guess this belongs here because I'm asking people to dump pictures. But if this isn't allowed, then a mod can close it.

I'm trying to make a wall, but I'm trying for a more exotic feel to it. I want to center around a jungle theme, but in order to do that, I need some dark skinned characters that look like they can belong in a game.

Something like this girl.

I'll take guys and girls, and I'll even take series names if there are no pictures. Thanks for any help in advance.

Do you have a much bigger image of this one? I'm looking to make a banner as well and I seriously need this shot.

Feel free to post or PM it. It doesn't matter.

I've heard that just chatting up strangers you meet is a good way to meet people, but I've never understood how this isn't rude. Maybe this is just the shy part of me talking, but it always struck me as intrusive, engaging someone in unsolicited conversation with no common points of discussion but the weather.

I guess it's o.k. if it's in a place like say . . . a club, Electronics Boutique, or maybe in a particular section of a bookstore. In cases like that, there's an assumption that you have similar interests, so it would be considered o.k. to start talking to someone for quick chatter.

You can comment on situations like that as well, but I would like to know about the random situation as well. Does going up to someone actually work for some people? Are other people not bothered by this? I'm just curious what other people's thoughts are on this because while I can maintain a random conversation, I'm afraid that my heart and gut isn't really into it. And if the other person notices that, there may be some awkwardness.

Maybe if I understand the reasoning, I'll be more open to more of these conversations as they happen.

I apologize is this isn't in the correct tsub-forum.

I'm currently trying to make an image using photoshop to put certain Suikoden characters' heads on anime characters' bodies playing tennis. In order to make this work, I need many scans and pictures of anime or manga involving ladies playing tennis.

My problem is that I can't recall any series that has some scans of something like this. Would anyone care to point me in the right direction in terms of some anime or manga suggestions that may make this work?

I'd ask for plenty of scans, but I'm not sure that's allowed here. Suggestions are enough help thugh.

Are these from the new character CD's?

Number 41 looks like Mizuki Takase from Comic Party, but the hair is a little shorter than usual. It could be someone else that resembles her, now that I think about it.

Let's be frank, everyone. Everyone relies on looks first. It's not like you wear your personality on your sleeve during first impressions, so saying you "look for personality first" is pretty contradictory. If no one likes what they see, they won't bother. Plain and simple.

No one is a saint, let's get that straight. But at the same time, there are many decent people out there, and all you have to do is find them.

I'm old enough to know that you never look for love when you're looking in the first place. If you look for love automatically, you'll never find it unless you're lucky. That would be the equivalent of telling someone you love them the very first day you see them. (Actually, I'm only 21, so I consider myself too young to have a serious relationship right now. I still have goals to achieve!)

Personally, looks will always catch my attention first, but it will be the personality, flair, attitude, and interests that will keep them there. I consider a lot of girls to be really pretty, and most guys feel the same way.

Oh and one last hint from experience, try not to make friends with the opposite gender if you want them more as friends. That never works. If it does, you'll be in for a whole lot of heartbreak before it gets any better. Fair warning.

Err . . . not a very happy topic . . . and I love life, really! But I just wanted to comment.

The worst way to die is in front of your loved ones. End of story.

Rocko's Modern Life . . . plain and simple.

The humor of that series relied on how much its viewers really know about life. There are spoofs in pop culture and there's even some innuendo in there. The characters were funny and the episodes were just plain great. Not bad for something that aired on a kids' network. They need to release a DVD so I can buy all the episodes.

As a matter of fact, I think a lot of Nickelodeon's old stuff is way superior to the garbage they have on now. It's a crying shame.

Salute Your Shorts was also a good series, but I know that none of those kids can probably pull off the same humor as they did back then. Just release the episodes on DVD so we can visit Camp Anawana once more!

f

Well it increased my ability to imagine. That really helped in lightening up my personality.
